  • How do I contact the doctor for an emergency?
    If you have a medical emergency, please call 911. The local emergency rooms are familiar with the process of contacting us for any information or needs.

  • How do I get any urgent medical attention?
    It is our practice to see our patients same day for any urgent needs. Please call our office to arrange a same day appointment to avoid delays or waiting. Our clinic nurse will guide you if you need assistance other than what we can provide at the clinic or in case we are unable to accommodate an urgent appointment.

  • How do I get medical advice after office hours for an urgent need?
    A provider is available for any urgent needs 24 hrs a day seven days a week. We will not be able to assist with prescription    refills, non urgent medical needs or routine matters after office hours. Typically, you will be given any suitable clinical advice and an appointment will be arranged next working day for a follow up visit as well. Please call our office phone (910)437-5130 for after hours urgent needs.

  • What is an Internal Medicine Physician?
    Internal Medicine physician is a primary care physician for adults ( age 16 and above). Common problems like Diabetes, High   BP, Thyroid conditions, Cholesterol, Heart and Lung conditions like heart attacks-Asthma-Emphysema, Kidney problems,   Erectile dysfunction, Menopause related issues, Stroke-Memory issues, Allergies, Arthritis, Stomach-Colon issues, Skin conditions,   Adult Cancer screenings, Physical examinations etc. are routine problems handled by an Internal Medicine Physician.You may visit American College of Physicians website - link available in 'Contact us' tab of this website.

  • How do I get refills on my medications?
    The best time to refill your medications is at the time of your clinic visit. A form to keep a list of your medications is available on this website. Any medication that you may run out of prior to your next visit will be refilled for the quantity needed until your next visit. We need three working days of notice for medication refill requests. We will not be able to refill medications to patients who do not have a scheduled office visit or patients with missed appointments.
    The best way to request a refill is via your pharmacy. Once you notify your pharmacy, they will contact us for processing the refill. Please check with the pharmacy after three working days on status of your refill.

  • What do I expect about payments to the clinic at the time of the visit?
    All outstanding balances and scheduled visit charges are expected to be paid at the visit. We do file Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and most commercial insurances. After a reasonable attempt to collect our fees from the Insurance companies, you will be responsible for the remaining charges due. Due to excessive cost and administrative burdens related to physician office billing,   we ask for your utmost cooperation in providing all related information to us at the time of your visit. Please discuss your billing related issues with our billing staff to avoid delays or frustrations. Most billing related issues are handled smoothly provided there is adequate information available to us.

  • How do I contact the office manager for any unresolved issues not addressed in a routine manner?
